Julie is the Corporate Director of Children’s Service (DCS) at the London Borough of Hillingdon. Julie has been a DCS for over two years and previously held a number of senior leadership roles in local government and Cafcass.
Julie has worked in Social Care for 28 years, qualifying in Scotland where she started her career in Criminal Justice, moving to Children’s Services in 2001 before relocating to England in 2003.
Since then, she has worked for 3 West Midlands Local Authorities and spent 8 years with Cafcass before moving to Hillingdon in 2017.
