Philip has over 15 years recruitment experience and was worked in the local government team at GatenbySanderson since joining the business in 2010. He has an extensive knowledge of the local government recruitment market, with networks nationwide. He is known for his sound, honest and straight-forward advice to candidates and clients alike to ensure that colleagues are fully supported. Throughout his career at GS he has focused on appointments in local government, particularly in children’s and adults services, recruiting many DCS, AD and HoS. He has been involved with the Upon programme for the past four years, as well as leading other programmes to develop talent pipelines in the sector.
In our session on 29th March we will be looking at how colleagues can engage with executive recruiters to find their next opportunity, to look at how to prepare their best CV and draft a supporting statement to maximise their experience and chance for success, and of course preparing for interview and how to make the most of your opportunity.
