Leader as Coach skills – taster session for BALI Network
You don’t need to be a qualified coach to use some fundamental coaching tools and skills to enhance your effectiveness and influence in the workplace. Bringing coaching skills to our ‘leadership toolbox’ can help us to work more constructively and collaboratively with our teams, increase our personal and interpersonal effectiveness, and influence cultural change. A coaching approach can encourage team members to be proactive, problem solve, create ideas and contribute fully. This is a short interactive taster session. We will share some content and you’ll have a chance to practice some of the key skills needed to adopt a ‘leader as coach’ approach.
The session will be facilitated by experienced coaches and Staff College associates Kate McKenna and Gayle Hudson
